| got back late so i didnt have a chance to grab the camera and go out snap some shots in beautiful San Francsico weather...but i did get some preliminary shots from my garage that'll have to do till i am able to get out and get some real shots! hopefully later today!

the 2 side vents are right over the shock tower area. After a hard pull, if you pull over and park the car and stick your hand over this area, u can feel the heat coming out.
this is the central vent, if it rains then water drips down and falls harmlessly into the area between the fan and the water pipes. Nothing scientific or anything, but i did notice a 5-10 degree celsius reduction in water temps from my HKS electric temp gauge on the freeway between pre-vented hood and vented hood.
For those who are curious, the hood is made by a local body shop guy...Williams in San Mateo did a great job....it is basically a stock aluminum hood with vents cut into it to allow hot air to leave the engine bay. Most every z owner knows how cramped out engine bays are and that just makes heat even worse.
 got me a bottle
